Silwal used the occasion to commend the support of government officials, trainers, field agents, extension agents, supervisors, community development officers, and nutrition liaison officers, which the Activity has enjoyed since 2019. \u201cWe are indeed grateful for how much you have supported us in ensuring that the northeast does not lack sufficient food and nutrition,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><figure id=\"attachment_24387\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24387\" style=\"width: 820px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-24387\" src=\"https:\/\/iita.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Some-award-recipients-with-IAA-staff-at-this-years-World-Agriculture-Day.jpg\" alt=\"Some award recipients with IAA staff at this year\u2019s World Agriculture Day.\" width=\"820\" height=\"411\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24387\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Some award recipients with IAA staff at this year\u2019s World Agriculture Day.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">One of the recipients of the award for excellence, Adamawa State Commissioner for Livestock and Aquaculture, praised the Activity for contributing immensely towards the growth of Adamawa State in the areas of agriculture and entrepreneurship. He assured that the state government would continue to support such laudable projects in the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the award ceremony, some of the male and female categories included Best Smallholder Farmer, Best Community-based Seed Producer, Best Livestock Farmer, and Farm Waste to Wealth Technology Award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p
