They conducted the training in the nation&#8217;s Boda and Boali districts.<\/p>\n\n<figure id=\"attachment_25968\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25968\" style=\"width: 820px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iita.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/The-Mayor-of-Boali-with-beneficiaries-of-the-workshop.jpg\" alt=\"The Mayor of Boali with beneficiaries of the workshop.\" width=\"820\" height=\"411\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25968\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25968\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Mayor of Boali with beneficiaries of the workshop.<\/figcaption><\/figure><p>IITA experts Fotso Kuate Apollin and Lienou Jules Apollinaire conducted the workshops with 72 cassava seed multipliers participating in both locations. They trained the participants on cassava production, cassava variety identification using agromorphological characteristics, and pests and diseases identification and management. PADECAS field supervisors facilitated translation into the local language\u2014Sango.<\/p><figure id=\"attachment_25969\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-25969\" style=\"width: 820px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/iita.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Partcicipants-of-the-workshop-after-the-field-pratice-in-Boda.jpg\" alt=\"Partcicipants of the workshop after the field pratice in Boda.\" width=\"820\" height=\"411\" class=\"size-full wp-image-25969\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-25969\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Partcicipants of the workshop after the field pratice in Boda.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n<p>Participants expressed satisfaction with the training content and committed to producing cassava seed differently.
