In a groundbreaking collaborative effort, the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research-Crops Research Institute (CSIR-CRI), Ghana, has joined forces with the IITA<\/a>\u2013CGIAR<\/a>‘s Program for Seed System Innovation for Vegetatively-Propagated Crops in Africa (PROSSIVA) project to clean some Ghana yam varieties\u00a0from\u00a0diseases.<\/p>\n\n

The process will include the use of aseptic procedures in controlled environments.
