\nThe five domains of sustainable intensification.<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\nThis work led to the development of a\u00a0sustainable intensification assessment framework<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0(SIAF) to help assess and measure an innovation\u2019s performance in terms of its direct and indirect consequences within and across five critical domains: productivity, economic, environmental, human, and social.\n\nIn November 2018, the\u00a0Feed the Future Innovation Lab for Collaborative Research on Sustainable Intensification\u00a0launched<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0the next iteration of this effort \u2013 the SI Toolkit \u2013 at the Agronomy Society of America\u2019s annual meeting.\n\nThe SI Toolkit is a dynamic, online platform to help researchers and development workers select appropriate
