Among the event’s highlights were the presentations made by processors trained under the project’s cassava and rice value chains, who started their businesses due to the project’s support. These processors unveiled a range of value-added products that garnered praise from key figures in attendance, including the Minister of State for Agriculture, Sen. Aliyu Sabi Abdullahi, and IFAD Vice President Dr Donal Brown.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n

During the program, Adenike Odeseyi, Veronica Aondoawase, and Victory Ogbonnaya, representing Benue, Ebonyi, and Ogun states, respectively, were recognized for their outstanding contributions. These dedicated processors received certificates of participation, underscoring their pivotal role in advancing agricultural innovation, food security, and import substitution within their communities.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n\n
