En outre, l'atelier a \u00e9t\u00e9 organis\u00e9 pour (i) renforcer les capacit\u00e9s des participants sur la technologie et la biologie des insectes et les techniques de production de masse de la mouche soldat noire, (ii) donner aux agriculteurs les moyens de remplacer les prot\u00e9ines import\u00e9es par de la farine de larves de MSN, (iii) renforcer les capacit\u00e9s des jeunes \u00e0 produire et \u00e0 utiliser la mouche soldat noire, (iv) d\u00e9montrer aux producteurs les diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9tapes de l'\u00e9levage de la mouche, de la pr\u00e9paration et de l'utilisation d'engrais organique \u00e0 base de MSN et (v) initier les agriculteurs \u00e0 la gestion d'unit\u00e9s de production de MSN d\u00e9centralis\u00e9es et priv\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'atelier est anim\u00e9 par le Dr Laouali Amadou, entomologiste \u00e0 l'INRAN, charg\u00e9 de la production de la composante BSF du projet BBEST. Environ 40 personnes ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation, dont neuf femmes issues des r\u00e9gions de Niamey, Maradi, Tahoua et Zinder, toutes jeunes agro-entrepreneures et agricultrices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><figure id=\"attachment_31565\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31565\" style=\"width: 820px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-31565 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/iita.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/practical-activities.jpg\" alt=\"Participants engaging in practical activities.\" width=\"820\" height=\"411\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-31565\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Participants se livrant \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s pratiques.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La formation de cinq jours a port\u00e9 sur le prototype de la BSFL et les kits d'\u00e9levage de la mouche soldat noire. Les participants ont \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9s sur la biologie de la mouche et les performances nutritionnelles des produits \u00e0 base de BSFL. Les animateurs ont \u00e9galement fourni des informations sur la nutrition et les r\u00e9sultats des exp\u00e9riences d'alimentation animale bas\u00e9es sur les produits \u00e0 base de BSFL. La formation a tourn\u00e9 autour de l'\u00e9levage et de la production des larves de BSFL et de la production g\u00e9nitale de la BSFL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apr\u00e8s la session th\u00e9orique, les participants ont particip\u00e9 \u00e0 des activit\u00e9s pratiques et ont appris \u00e0 pr\u00e9parer le kit d'\u00e9levage de la mouche soldat noire (MSN) ainsi qu'\u00e0 \u00e9lever les mouches adultes et les larves. Ils se sont \u00e9galement exerc\u00e9s \u00e0 la surveillance et \u00e0 l'entretien de la colonie. On leur a montr\u00e9 la r\u00e9colte et la post-r\u00e9colte des larves de MSN ainsi que leur transformation. Les formateurs ont pr\u00e9sent\u00e9 l'utilisation des produits \u00e0 base de MSN dans l'alimentation animale. Ils ont \u00e9t\u00e9 emmen\u00e9s sur le terrain pour acqu\u00e9rir des connaissances pratiques sur la pr\u00e9paration de l'engrais organique \u00e0 base de MSN et son utilisation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><figure id=\"attachment_31566\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-31566\" style=\"width: 820px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-31566 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/iita.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/composting-of-BSF-frass.jpg\" alt=\"Preparation for the composting of BSF frass.\" width=\"820\" height=\"411\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-31566\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Pr\u00e9paration pour le compostage des d\u00e9jections de BSF.<\/figcaption><\/figure><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Idrissa Mohamed, un agro-\u00e9conomiste qui a particip\u00e9 \u00e0 la formation, a t\u00e9moign\u00e9 du co\u00fbt \u00e9lev\u00e9 des aliments pour poulets et poissons et de ses contraintes sur le d\u00e9veloppement de l'agriculture et de l'\u00e9levage dans le pays. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la formation, il a appris \u00e0 mettre en place une unit\u00e9 d'\u00e9levage de mouches soldates noires pour la production de masse et a affirm\u00e9 que la technologie pouvait \u00eatre facilement apprise et adopt\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Mohamed souhaite mettre en place une unit\u00e9 de production de larves de mouches soldates noires (BSF) et commencer la formulation des aliments plus tard. Il a mentionn\u00e9 qu'il formerait les personnes int\u00e9ress\u00e9es par la technologie de la mouche soldate noire.
