Il a cependant not\u00e9 que la prochaine phase n\u00e9cessitera une priorisation plus forte, des investissements cibl\u00e9s et des syst\u00e8mes de diffusion plus efficaces pour obtenir un plus grand impact. Les discussions ont \u00e9galement mis en lumi\u00e8re la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 d'une planification \u00e0 long terme, d'indicateurs de succ\u00e8s clairs et d'approches de s\u00e9lection qui refl\u00e8tent les besoins des agriculteurs, du d\u00e9veloppement \u00e0 l'adoption. \u2019 La vision est longue, et la Fondation Gates se projette au-del\u00e0 du pr\u00e9sent pour les g\u00e9n\u00e9rations futures \u201c, a-t-il ajout\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Repr\u00e9sentant Breeding for Tomorrow, Makram Geha, a apport\u00e9 une rigueur structurelle \u00e0 la vision, soulignant que le d\u00e9veloppement de produits r\u00e9volutionnaires n'est pas un moment ; il s'agit d'une architecture qui implique des plans de travail pluriannuels, des indicateurs de succ\u00e8s d\u00e9finis et une r\u00e9flexion de bout en bout qui int\u00e8gre les perspectives des agriculteurs tout au long du processus, et pas seulement au moment du lancement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hugo Campos de la <a href=\"https:\/\/cipotato.org\/\">Centre international de la pomme de terre (CIP)<\/a> ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que la r\u00e9union n'\u00e9tait pas seulement un examen du pass\u00e9 mais une session de conception pour un avenir partag\u00e9, ax\u00e9 sur l'augmentation des gains g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques, l'industrialisation de la production de manioc et d'igname, et l'augmentation de la valeur \u00e9conomique pour les petits exploitants agricoles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David Meyer, consultant ind\u00e9pendant avec une exp\u00e9rience dans le secteur priv\u00e9, a partag\u00e9 des perspectives sur l'interface entre les centres de recherche et les entreprises priv\u00e9es. Selon lui, un transfert r\u00e9ussi d'une vari\u00e9t\u00e9 am\u00e9lior\u00e9e \u00e0 l'adoption par les agriculteurs ne se fait pas par d\u00e9faut ; cela n\u00e9cessite une approche d\u00e9lib\u00e9r\u00e9e et bien coordonn\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9union, qui s'est d\u00e9roul\u00e9e sur trois jours et six blocs th\u00e9matiques, a permis aux participants de passer en revue les progr\u00e8s de la s\u00e9lection et les plans de travail, d'explorer des outils de s\u00e9lection modernis\u00e9s et de visiter des parcelles de s\u00e9lection de manioc et des sites de multiplication d'ignames. Les sessions ont \u00e9galement port\u00e9 sur les futures orientations de s\u00e9lection au-del\u00e0 de 2027, notamment les strat\u00e9gies d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration des gains g\u00e9n\u00e9tiques et d'augmentation de la valeur \u00e9conomique de la production de manioc et d'ignames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La r\u00e9union s'est conclue avec des priorit\u00e9s align\u00e9es, des structures de responsabilit\u00e9 plus claires et un engagement commun \u00e0 renforcer la diffusion des innovations en mati\u00e8re d'\u00e9levage ax\u00e9es sur les agriculteurs en
