Avec AICCRA \u00e0 la pointe de l'aide aux petits exploitants agricoles pour s'adapter au changement climatique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des solutions scientifiques et adapt\u00e9es localement, le 97<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0Le Salon de l'agriculture et du commerce de la Zambie cr\u00e9e la plateforme pour pr\u00e9senter cinq innovations cl\u00e9s con\u00e7ues pour relever les d\u00e9fis critiques auxquels est confront\u00e9 le secteur agricole zambien.<\/p>\n<p>Alors que la Zambie continue de faire face \u00e0 des menaces li\u00e9es au climat, allant de pluies erratiques et de s\u00e9cheresses prolong\u00e9es \u00e0 des chaleurs extr\u00eames, l'AICCRA Zambie \u00e9quipe les agriculteurs avec l'agriculture intelligente face au climat (CSA), des technologies innovantes et des services d'information climatique.<\/p>\n<p>Avec plus de 300 000 petits exploitants agricoles touch\u00e9s, dont plus d'un tiers de femmes, AICCRA contribue activement \u00e0 renforcer la r\u00e9silience climatique, \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les moyens de subsistance et \u00e0 assurer une croissance agricole durable dans tout le pays.<\/p>\n<p>En travaillant avec des partenaires publics et priv\u00e9s, AICCRA Zambie permet aux agriculteurs, en particulier aux femmes et aux jeunes, d'anticiper et de r\u00e9agir aux chocs climatiques. L'une des pierres angulaires de l'initiative est son programme d'acc\u00e9l\u00e9ration, qui att\u00e9nue les risques d'investissement climatique et aide les agro-entreprises \u00e0 d\u00e9ployer des technologies d'agriculture intelligente face au climat (CSA), telles que les syst\u00e8mes d'irrigation solaires, les vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de semences tol\u00e9rantes \u00e0 de multiples stress, la gestion durable de l'eau et la m\u00e9canisation.<\/p>\n<p>L'approche d'innovation group\u00e9e du projet adapte des solutions \u00e0 des d\u00e9fis sp\u00e9cifiques dans des cha\u00eenes de valeur cl\u00e9s, notamment l'arachide, le ma\u00efs, le soja, l'\u00e9levage et l'aquaculture. Ces solutions am\u00e9liorent l'efficacit\u00e9 des ressources, favorisent la diversification et introduisent des technologies d'all\u00e8gement du travail, garantissant ainsi que les agriculteurs sont \u00e9quip\u00e9s pour maintenir leur productivit\u00e9 et am\u00e9liorer leurs moyens de subsistance face \u00e0 un climat en \u00e9volution.<\/p>\n<p>Au salon de cette ann\u00e9e, AICCRA Zambie pr\u00e9sente cinq innovations cl\u00e9s :<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Gestion de l'eau agricole<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwmi.org\/\"><em>IWMI<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Accro\u00eetre la productivit\u00e9 de l'eau biophysique, sociale et \u00e9conomique gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des interventions d'utilisation de l'eau adapt\u00e9es \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle et au contexte pour les petits exploitants.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Syst\u00e8mes int\u00e9gr\u00e9s d'aquaculture et d'agriculture<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldfishcenter.org\/\"><em>WorldFish<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Promotion de l'int\u00e9gration durable de l'aquaculture, de la production v\u00e9g\u00e9tale et de l'\u00e9levage, y compris l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des semences de poisson r\u00e9silientes et \u00e0 une formation pour les producteurs. Une visite virtuelle sur le terrain mettra en lumi\u00e8re les r\u00e9ussites d'agriculteurs \u00e0 Mansa, Luwingu et Kasama.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de semences intelligentes face au climat<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/iita.org\/fr\/\"><em>IITA<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Am\u00e9liorer l'acc\u00e8s \u00e0 des vari\u00e9t\u00e9s de cultures tol\u00e9rantes \u00e0 la s\u00e9cheresse et aux maladies gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des partenariats tout au long de la cha\u00eene de valeur des semences.<\/li>\n<li><strong>M\u00e9canisation pour les petits exploitants<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(<\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cimmyt.org\/\"><em>CIMMYT<\/em><\/a><em>)<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 R\u00e9duire l\u2019intensit\u00e9 du travail et augmenter la productivit\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des machines accessibles, adapt\u00e9es aux petits exploitants agricoles.<\/li>\n<li><strong>L'innovation chez les jeunes<\/strong>\u00a0<em>(Girafe Verte \u2013 Programme i2G)<\/em>\u00a0\u2013 Soutenir les jeunes entrepreneurs gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la subvention pour l'innovation et les stages (i2G) de l'AICCRA Zambie, qui nourrit les innovations locales climato-intelligentes. Green Giraffe, un des meilleurs performeurs du d\u00e9fi d'innovation 2023, produit d\u00e9sormais commercialement des solutions climatiques issues du programme.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Alors que la Zambie se mobilise pour adapter son secteur agricole \u00e0 la crise climatique, l'AICCRA Zambie est un exemple de science et d'innovation en action, ouvrant la voie \u00e0 suivre gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 des
