La contamination par les aflatoxines pr\u00e9sente des risques importants pour la sant\u00e9, notamment le cancer du foie et d'autres effets chroniques sur la sant\u00e9, affectant des millions de personnes dans la r\u00e9gion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pour r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 ce probl\u00e8me critique, l'IITA et ses partenaires mettent en \u0153uvre des activit\u00e9s visant \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper, tester, enregistrer et d\u00e9ployer un produit de biocontr\u00f4le rentable connu sous le nom d'Aflasafe, dans le cadre d'une strat\u00e9gie int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de gestion de l'aflatoxine. La recherche de l'IITA vise \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer les moyens de subsistance des petits exploitants agricoles, \u00e0 renforcer la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire et \u00e0 accro\u00eetre la comp\u00e9titivit\u00e9 des \u00e9changes c\u00e9r\u00e9aliers des nations sur les march\u00e9s r\u00e9gionaux et internationaux.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'IITA et ses partenaires ont d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 et enregistr\u00e9 les produits Aflasafe, \u00e0 savoir AflasafeTZ01 pour la Tanzanie, AflasafeUG01 pour l'Ouganda et AflasafeKE01 pour le Kenya. L'Aflasafe est une solution naturelle facile \u00e0 utiliser pour contr\u00f4ler la contamination par les aflatoxines du ma\u00efs, du sorgho et des arachides, appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 raison de 4 kg par acre par \u00e9pandage au moment de la croissance des plantes dans les fermes. L'Aflasafe destin\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 \u00e0 Madagascar est actuellement en cours de d\u00e9veloppement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Objectifs du projet<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L'IITA et ses partenaires mettent en \u0153uvre des activit\u00e9s visant \u00e0 d\u00e9velopper, tester, enregistrer et diffuser un produit de lutte biologique rentable connu sous le nom d'Aflasafe, dans le cadre d'une strat\u00e9gie int\u00e9gr\u00e9e de gestion de
