Les Technologies pour la Transformation Agricole en Afrique (TAAT), financ\u00e9es par la Banque Africaine de D\u00e9veloppement (BAD), sont un programme majeur \u00e0 l'\u00e9chelle continentale con\u00e7u pour renforcer la productivit\u00e9 agricole sur le continent en catalysant rapidement le d\u00e9ploiement de technologies \u00e9prouv\u00e9es d\u00e9velopp\u00e9es par les centres du CGIAR, les syst\u00e8mes nationaux de recherche agricole (SNRA) et les instituts de recherche agricole avanc\u00e9s (IRA) aupr\u00e8s de millions d'agriculteurs. L'objectif global de TAAT est de doubler la productivit\u00e9 des cultures, de l'\u00e9levage et du poisson en \u00e9largissant l'acc\u00e8s aux technologies productives pour plus de 40 millions de petits exploitants agricoles en Afrique. TAAT vise \u00e0 g\u00e9n\u00e9rer 120 millions de tonnes m\u00e9triques (TM) de nourriture suppl\u00e9mentaires tout en sortant 130 millions de personnes de la pauvret\u00e9.
