Bridget, a Malawian national, is the Head of Hospitality and Travel Services (HOSTRAS) at IITA-Ibadan. She holds an Executive MBA from the University of Cumbria (UK) in collaboration with Robert Kennedy College (Switzerland), specializing in strategic management and leadership. Additionally, she has a qualification in Hotel and Restaurant Concept Design from EHL (Switzerland). She also possesses a General National Vocational Qualification (GNVQ) advanced certificate in Hospitality and Catering from Boston College (UK), and studied for a BA in Hospitality and Food Management from Birmingham College University, England (formerly Birmingham College of Food and Creative Studies) (UK).<\/p>\n\n\n\n
With over 25 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including her college years, Bridget’s career includes valuable stints at renowned hotels such as The Hilton Hotels, Malmaison Hotels, and City Inn in Birmingham, England. After returning to Malawi, she worked for Crossroads Hotel Lilongwe (formerly Cresta Crossroads Hotel) for 8 years, occupying several senior management positions. In 2014, she joined The Latitude Hotels as General Manager for Latitude 13 in Lilongwe and Latitude 15 in Lusaka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
