A Nigerian by nationality, Bakare began his career in 1993 as an Audit Senior with R.A. <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Oguntayo<\/span><span class=\"s2\">&amp; Co. He later joined Lagos State Development and Property Corporation, where he rose to the position of Senior Accountant. In 1999, he moved to Ess-ay Holding Ltd, serving as an Accountant and later as Assistant Manager, Internal Audit. Bakare joined IITA in 2004 as an Intermediate Auditor. Over the years, he progressed through various roles, including Senior Internal Auditor, Supply Chain Intelligence and Shipping Manager, Assistant Head of Supply Chain, and ultimately, Head of Supply Chain in January 2016. A graduate of Accountancy from <\/span><span class=\"s2\">Yaba<\/span><span class=\"s2\"> College of Technology (1993), Bakare furthered his education with a Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2010.
