Patrick K. Mutuo, a Kenyan, joined IITA as the Maize Value Chain Specialist for the PRDAIGL project in Burundi. His research and leadership experience spans over 20 years, and he specializes in the fields of soil nutrient cycling, agricultural intensification, conservation, agricultural value chains and multi-sectoral approaches. His geographical work experience covers eastern, central, southern and western Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most recently, Patrick worked as the University of Florida \u2013 IITA Liaison officer and visiting scientist at IITA, based in Nairobi. He has previously worked with Columbia University, Conservation International, CIAT and TSBF-UNESCO. He holds a BSc degree in Forestry and an MSc degree in Environmental Sciences from Moi University, Kenya, and a PhD in Soil Science from Imperial College, The University of London, U.K. His scientific output is evident in over twenty (20) articles in refereed journals, book chapters and proceedings.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
