Prior to this, John studied NPK fertigation for optimal growth, storage root yield, and quality of cassava and uncovered the physiological indicator of N-application effectiveness and the underlying mechanisms for P and K in the process of storage root development. He has previously evaluated commercial bioproducts in various cropping systems, studied the relationship between tillage methods and BNF, and taught soil science and agronomy courses.
