She has a Master\u2019s degree in Business Administration specializing in Total Quality Management from the University of Medical Sciences and Technology and a Bachelor\u2019s degree in Food Engineering Technology from the University of Gezira in Wad Madani, Sudan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Before joining IITA, she was the Food Safety and Quality Manager at Samil Industrial Co., a French Sudanese company that produces foods to treat malnutrition, where she participated in making sure that products were safe and palatable for consumption, especially for vulnerable children. She was also opportune to work on the development and industrialization of agricultural crops such as Groundnuts and to ensure the application of food safety principles on the complete value chain.
