Il est titulaire d'un doctorat en \u00e9conomie agricole de l'Universit\u00e9 agricole de Huazhong (Chine), d'une ma\u00eetrise de l'Universit\u00e9 du Zhejiang (Chine) et d'une licence de l'Universit\u00e9 Ahmadu Bello (Nig\u00e9ria). Ses int\u00e9r\u00eats de recherche portent sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 alimentaire, le changement climatique, l'impact de l'adoption des technologies agricoles sur le bien-\u00eatre des agriculteurs, les prix des march\u00e9s agricoles, etc. Il a \u00e9t\u00e9 chercheur associ\u00e9 \u00e0 l'Institut National de Recherche Agronomique du Niger (INRAN) ainsi que consultant ind\u00e9pendant.
