He joined the International Institute of Tropical Agriculture <\/span><span class=\"s3\">(IITA) <\/span><span class=\"s3\">in 2007 and currently the Head of the IITA Medical Unit in Ibadan, Nigeria. <\/span><span class=\"s3\">H<\/span><span class=\"s3\">e is a seasoned health practitioner<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> w<\/span><span class=\"s3\">ith over 25 years of experience in clinical practice and health management. He has extensive experience in both private and public medical institutions, <\/span><span class=\"s3\">practicing <\/span><span class=\"s3\">as a <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Family &amp;<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> Public Health Physician as well as a Health Manager<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> et <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Administrator. He earned his medical degree from the University of Ilorin in 1995, completed postgraduate training in Family Medicine in 2004<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> with the <\/span><span class=\"s3\">National postgraduate medical college of <\/span><span class=\"s3\">Nig\u00e9ria<\/span><span class=\"s3\">, and obtained a master\u2019s in public health from Obafemi Awolowo University in 2012. In 2024, he <\/span><span class=\"s3\">became <\/span><span class=\"s3\">board-certified as a Lifestyle Medicine Physician by the International Board of Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM). He is a member of <\/span><span class=\"s3\">several professional organizations including <\/span><span class=\"s3\">the Society of Family Physicians of Nigeria (SOFPON), Society of Lifestyle Medicine of Nigeria (SOLONG)<\/span><span class=\"s3\"> et <\/span><span class=\"s3\">World Organization of National Colleges, Academies of Family Physicians (WONCA), and is an associate fellow of the West African College of Physicians.
