Docteur. Olajumoke Adeyeye, a Nigerian, is a Postdoctoral Fellow (Gender Research). She is based at IITA, Ibadan, Nigeria. Her research focus is on micro-level analysis of multidimensional empowerment, gender, and youth empowerment, especially in agriculture and rural livelihoods.
She has a doctoral degree in Agricultural Extension and Rural Development from the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta, Nigeria in 2018. Before taking up the Postdoctoral position, Dr. Adeyeye worked as a Senior Research Fellow at the Centre for Gender and Social Policy Studies, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria where her responsibility includes teaching, research, and advocacy on gender, development, and social policy issues.
Dr. Adeyeye has vast experience in conducting research and has led and worked with multidisciplinary teams on projects funded by IDRC, BMGF, etc. in different contexts across Africa: Nigeria, Ghana, and Tanzania. She has hands-on experience in gender analysis, mainstreaming, and integration; gender policy design, implementation, and review; and women empowerment and Gender Analysis frameworks.
Elle est titulaire de différentes bourses et subventions, notamment la bourse African Women in Agriculture Research and Development (AWARD) (2011), la bourse de formation sur le genre INASP AuthorAid (2015) et la bourse de recherche de troisième cycle de l'IITA (2016). Elle a publié dans des revues universitaires réputées, et a participé et animé des conférences, séminaires et webinaires, tant au niveau national qu'international.
