Aflasafe for Aflatoxin Control
Deployment of Aflasafe BF01, a biological control technology that significantly reduces aflatoxin contamination in maize and groundnut, improving food safety and trade potential.
Improved Cowpea Varieties
Introduction of early-maturing and drought-tolerant cowpea varieties developed in collaboration with Institut National d’Environnement et des Recherches Agricoles (INERA), enhancing productivity under low rainfall conditions.
Hermetic Storage Technologies (PICS Bags)
Promotion of Purdue Improved Crop Storage (PICS) bags to reduce postharvest losses and protect grains from storage pests without chemicals.
