Training & Capacity Building
Empowering People. Strengthening Systems. Driving Change.
At IITA, we believe that knowledge is one of the most powerful tools for transforming agriculture and livelihoods. For decades, our training and capacity building programs have gone beyond classrooms and workshops-reaching farmers fields, research stations, and communities across Africa.
Through targeted skills development, we equip farmers, researchers, extension agents, youth, and policymakers with the tools they need to address the continent’s most pressing agricultural challenges. The results speak for themselves stronger local expertise, thriving agribusinesses, and resilient food systems.
