DRC lies within the Congo Basin, which is characterized by humid forests and semi-arid agroecological zones. Farming systems are largely forest-based, root-crop, cereal-root-crop, and tree-crop systems. IITA supports climate-resilient agriculture, strengthened seed systems, and technology delivery to enhance productivity and food security.
